Studio 180 Partners with BMO Financial Group and Dignitas International

Studio 180’s productions often invite opportunities for important partnerships, including our newfound connection – through mutual supporter BMO Financial Group – to Dignitas International, a vital humanitarian organization committed to providing health care for developing communities, specifically focused on the distribution of medication to those infected with HIV and AIDS.

Dignitas co-founder Dr. James Orbinski cared for hundreds of victims of the Rwandan genocide as part of his work with Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders, and accepted the Nobel Peace Prize as International President of that organization in 1999.

On Wednesday, February 24, 2010, BMO will generously host a fundraising gala in shared support of Studio 180 and Dignitas. Special guests will include Dr. James Orbinski, Retired Lieutenant-General Roméo Dallaire and Studio 180 Artistic Director, Joel Greenberg.
