Studio 180 Announces Theatre Creators’ Reserve Results

Studio 180 is pleased to announce our recommendations for the Ontario Arts Council’s Theatre Creators’ Reserve program, which assists artists or collectives as they develop new work. We were overwhelmed and delighted by the sheer volume of submissions and, with $4,000 dollars at our disposal and requests for over $115,000 in support, the decision making process was very difficult for all involved.

The following four projects were singled out by our Core Artistic Team, each receiving a recommendation for $1,000 in financial assistance from the OAC:

Komagata Maru, Ravi Jain (Why Not Theatre)
Oil Man, Sonja Mills (Union Eight Theatre)
Out the Window, Liza Balkan
Petawawa, Christopher Morris (Human Cargo)
