  • The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later (Oct 12, 2009)
The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later (Oct 12, 2009)
We were a part of a groundbreaking “one night only” collaboration that saw the simultaneous world premiere of an epilogue to "The Laramie Project" in about 150 theatres or schools, to an audience of approximately 50,000 people, worldwide. The epilogue is a stirring follow-up to the original play, made up of interviews with the citizens of Laramie, Wyoming, 10 years after Matthew Shepard’s murder. All proceeds from the evening went to The 519 Church Street Community Centre. Photo by Nicolett Jakab.

The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later (Oct 12, 2009)
Through a live Internet feed and the techno-magic of Twitter, we shared in the moving pre- and post-show speeches and Q&A happening at New York’s Lincoln Center (before and after our own reading). Here our capacity crowd is seen waiting for the pre-show feed from New York's Lincoln Center to begin. Photo by Nicolett Jakab.
